4runner foglights
i just replaced the hella factory fog lights on my 98 4runner with piaa's. they were the same wattage and all and worked right after i installed them. i turned the lights on right after i put the bulbs in and they worked and looked great but the next day they didnt work anymore. i checked to see if anything was loose but nothing was. does anybody know what my problem is? thanks.

did you check the fuse? :pat:
if its still ok get in there with a voltmeter (really cheap if you dont have one) and test to see if you still have voltage going to the lights when thier turned on.

Fuse box
In the fuse box. It's on the driver's side under the hood. The underside of the cover to it has a diagram of all the different fuses and one should say FOG. If it's not there, check the fuse box in the kick panel. It also has the diagram on the underside of it. Also, in the big fuse box there should be a few extra fuses if you need them.

Do you have fog lights like me?
If they are, then the fuse is not in the fuse box. It will most likely be in line somewhere by the battery. I installed the Hella "factory" fogs that are pictured above and I mounted the fuse about 4 inches behind the battery. Since they were a toyota aftermarket part it came with all of the wiring, that is the only place it could be.
You could also check the relay, which would also be by the fuse.
