3VZE PCV valve access ?

I have the FSM and it simply says "replace PCV"

However, if you know your 3VZE, it is pretty clear the PCV is under the air intake.

So...is it really necessary to remove the air intake plenum to replace the PCV ??

Thanks

David

nope, no taking off the intake plenum..just get a long pair of those needle nose pliers with a curve at the end, and a good light source, reach in grab old one and put in th new one..takes a few minutes and maybe a little patience.
