3rd gen front lip spoiler question
Hi everyone,
New to the board. Been here awhile actually, just haven't posted. I have a cosmetic question, (never thought I'd use that word in a 4x4 forum)... On the main page for JAOS, there is a black runner with a lip spoiler. I can't seem to identify this part. I did a search here, but perhaps I'm looking up the wrong topics. Anyone have a clue?
Here's the link:
http://www.jaos.com/
Just hit refresh if you don't see the black 4runner on the main page. It'll show up. This piece would look sweet with the 2002 aluminum skid plate.
Looking to do some upgrades soon.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the picture Andrey.
The part I am referring to is the additional lip at the bottom of the front bumper. I would describe it as a front lip spoiler that seems to beef up the front end of the car significantly. Just curious to know if anyone has it on their rig, or if anyone knows where to purchase it from. I guess I could contact JAOS directly, but I don't believe its one of their parts.

Yes, I have this and it is $$$, no doubt. Believe it or not, I doesn't cost us much less. Japan made item, O.E.M quality/fit, low production.
Jaos does have some really great stuff that is really unique, but prices can be up there. I do sell Jaos less than any other authrorized dealer, so you can bet you are getting the best price.

Thanks for the responses guys. Wow! As someone who heavily modified an import before, I was expecting $250 to $300 tops... 6 benjis for that piece is crazy. I understand that shipping from Japan is expensive, and I believe you Jason when you say that you have the best price out there...
Fit and finish is nice, but it better be made out of titanium or carbon fiber for that price.

from the picture it just looks like an upside down wing/spoiler on a car. measure it out and maybe you can modify one to achieve the same look at a fraction of the cost. the width may be the problem so even check those rear spoilers that they make for trucks now.

Jaos has a few of these left and I've talked them into moving them out at cost on their end. I may be able to drop on these by $100!!!!
There are only 2-3 left. If anyone is interested, let me know and I'll see if I can make it happen.

Thank you for your efforts in trying to get the best price for us Jason. Unfortunately, even with the $100 reduction, the piece is still way out of my budget for the car, ($500 + $80 shipping to Hawaii). Please keep us updated on any new developments. If it does happen to fall in the $200 to $300 range, I'd be on it like a fly on horse poop.

Shipping to hawaii only goes 2nd day air. At the $100 off, sadly, is almost cost. One the 2-3 in stock are gone, price will go back up and they will become special order. No worries, it's an imported piece of gold that will always be a piece of gold, hehe.

Wings west was bought out by another company, but it's still under that name for the time being. Rumor says... Ohh, I can get pretty much anything they have on there.
ALSO, while I know we can't satisfy everyone... I try to do my best to find something someone likes. This is just one of many more items to come. From grilles, custom wood interiors, H.I.D.'s, exhausts, to lift kits, we are going to cover it all. Stay tuned. I don't know about you guys, but I'm excited.
