3rd gen fog lights

Has anyone had any experiance with these? Any pros or cons? Just plug in the holes or it is more complicated than that? Thanks.

I searched "Hella Micro DE" here but seems like only this one is "vehicle specific" for our 4runner.

yes, have them on my car right now and love them. Only problem is the kit is for a 2000 4Runner and the wiring is a little different than the 99.

It may help you get a pic of the underside of a Runner that already has them.

My '99 had them stock from the factory and everytime I had the units apart it took me a minute to remember how it went back.

Just be warned that the factory fogs don't do JACK for performance. Only thing they do is add to the look of the vehicle. Look at other lighting options, if you're looking to increase light output.

I've got Hella Mirco DE's and they are amazing. They put out a wider and brighter light output then my regular headlights...

x2 on that, i prefer the fog+low beam to the high beams any day.

I agree 100%. Don't be discouraged by their size...they are very impressive.

Granted, they're not comparable to some of the bigger lights...like LightForce's but they do well for being "stock."
