Shiny vehicle on a sunny day, looks good! I've been hitting mine with the clay bar the last few days, a few panels a day until it's all done, then on to buffing and waxing. But man, I keep finding little rock chips that have the slightest amount of rust peeking through that I need to take care of. Gonna hit the bottom 1/4 with Herculiner this year, maybe cross off a few others from my enormous To Do list. Your new bumper looks awesome!

Debadge my man and leave 'em in your dust wondering what just blew by....

check out my Facebook link to see mine devoid of all the rear end stuff.

I've been contemplating blacking them out or just ditching them all together. I like the tail lights and for the price I got them for, you would've got them too They are becoming old news to me though and I'm wanting a new style. Might either go with the 01-02 OEMs or the LEDs. But, thats all least of my worries. Winch, sliders, wheels, and tires should all be coming here within the next 2-3 months or so. Then it's back to saving my money

My brother picked up a can of this at Napa. Can probably find it at most auto/paint shops. I did 3 coats on mine, I don't have pictures of them lit up in the day or at night yet, but I will soon to show!

I need to do the same. I have rust specs all over my nice white paint. I had a thought of taking the truck in to get detailed. The shop wanted 350 bucks! I'll do it myself and it will look 10 times better.

Do it, mine had gold originally but I changed them to chrome years ago, now I'm thinking about painting them black pearl. That would look great on yours, or just debadge it like Ron suggested.

Ok, so It finally got to me and I debadged today. What a PITA haha! Plan on trying to match my the charcoal grey plastic framing around the liscence plate or whatever it's called. Anyone know what color that is? And I plan to pick up some of that nite-shade and black my taillights as well as my ARB amber lights. Btw, whats a good non-messy adhesive to put my emblems back on with. I've used the 3M liquid adhesive before and that stuff is insanely messy and just eats the paint if it gets on the emblem. I kinda like the look without the badges for now, might take my time painting them all

Use Pit Crews Choice Adhesive/Sealant, probably can pick it up anywhere, like I said about the tint paint. Works really good, haven't had any problems with my emblems staying on yet, it's been like 5 months now though winter that they've stayed. Be sure to sand them down good, I'm going to have to take off my SR5 and 4Runner emblem this summer, sand, and put another coat or 2 of paint on them because some of the corners chipped which led to some chipping in other places. Not really noticeable, but when I see it, it really gets me haha.

I've noticed that the Nite Shades gives off a slightly purple look. I had my amber bumper lights, clear bumper lights, and also the lens on my roof console sprayed with Nite Shades and every time I got a purple look coming through when light passed through. I don't know if they changed the formula now or what, just thought I'd share my experience. I ended up tinting some clear coat with black paint to black out my front bumper lenses, worked great; add less black (or fewer coats) and you can get the "smoked" effect too. Just FYI.

hmm.. thats good to know pattycakes. I don't want any purple hue to any of it. I have some spare window tint I might use it to cover my ARB amber lights with and I'll look around for more spray tint. Thanks for the heads up
