These things do work although they are highly experimental. Not only do you get better gas mileage, you get more power. However it makes the motor run very lean, so reliability.... I don't know.

The system I have seen before is the PICC (Pre-Ignition Catalytic Converter), they do work but from what I have seen the systems can be pretty sketchy because they have to be adapted to every car.

My dad had a secret carburetor that let his 1978 F250 w/460 V8 & full size camper get over 100 mpg, but the suits from Detroit came & replaced it with an "improved" model & then he only got 8 mpg. When he tried to the original back, they told him it didn't exist.

Actually they do, a co-worker of mine is a registered dealer for the PICC system and it is possible to get crazy mileage but from what I have seen it is pretty tough to keep something from faulting... the mileage is there, but check engine lights and other issues seem to prevent any real reliability for it. He installed a system like this on an higher mileage KIA and for the first couple months it worked great, about 40 mpg from the usual 22 or so. However, eventually it somehow broke the ECU. So I don't think its worth it yet, but it can be done.

Yup this technology is absolutely full of crap! Anyone can make some videos and a website and say things to sell money. Get one and prove us all wrong, but when you waste more money than buying a prius or smart car, you are the one who has officially learned the hard way.

Yeah it runs the motor lean. Lean = knock = boom. these motors are lasting 10k miles at best, and blowing up. We had a heated discussion about this on the Subaru forums not too long ago. Believe me turbo guys know about leaning out a motor and the fatal effects that follow soon after.

Yeah this really works, and by 'works' I mean your engine won't last and you can only get the claimed 44mpg if you put 1 gallon of gas in it and start at the top of a hill, you don't actually average 44mpg over the whole tank! I mean are you guys crazy or what? gas weighs like 6lbs/gal, it's heavy!
