I've had them for 2 years and numerous wheeling trips and that has never happened (knock on wood)

I meant: Since I already have ATS arms would I run into the rubbing issues and require the extra backspacing?

if you have the proper lift, rubbing will be minimal.

hes talking about on the a-arms.

andy has 16x8, 4.5 BS. you've got 16x7, stock BS, whatever that is. do the math to figure out what size space you need. check roger brown's site for wheel size math.

but their should be no problem with the rim actually holding the tire right? Can you ever go too large with your spacer, i was thinking of just ordering a 2"

on a 16x7 i would say to stick w/ a 285. it's a tight fit on a 7" wide wheel and it will rub w/o spacers or new upper a-arms.

a 305 is right at an inch wider, making them "bubble" out another 1/2" on either side of your 7" wide wheel.

they fit very nicely on a 8" wide wheel. the extra 1" makes a big difference.
