3.4 Intake seal and knock sensor harness questions
Putting my top end back together after the headgasket leak. I ordered the complete top end gasket kit from toyota, as well as new knock sensor wiring harness. Also ordered new head bolts, tensioner, rollers, wp, tb, seal and more. Gary at Newman was awesome to work with.
Of all the pictures I took, I did not get one of where the knock sensor harness exits the intake. Is it on the passanger or drivers side in the front?
The foam that seals the block to the intake, front and rear, is no good. What do you guys use to replace that? There is "foam" in the kit but it is for the plastic covers on the front of the motor.
So far no real issues with head gasket replacement....knock on wood.
