2rz-fe 2wd swap
This is my first time posting but I need some answers...
Well i got ahold oof a '96 2wd p/u with an auto trans
I'm wanting to put the block in my '88.
I have the ECU and harness out of '96, i want to put a five speed in the truck.
besides a diff ECU what would I have to do to the engine? Would the wiring harness for the auto trans work with the ECU for the five speed? or do I have to cut or add some wires on the harness?
Oh! Will the 4 or 5 speed from a 22r bolt up to the 2rz

As for the 4 or 5 speed from an older truck, it'll work but you'll need the bell housing from a W59 to bolt to the block. The bellhousing will then bolt to your W56 or whatever.
