2nd Gen ISR Mod interest?

Hey all,

I was just wondering if it would be worth it to anyone for me to get some pipes bent up for the 2nd gen ISR mod. I think I can get my hands on a small hydaulic pipe bender and make the simple bend it would take per the article tech section. What would this be worth to people and what type of pipe should I use. It might be a good summer project for me to bang these out and help others since I want to do this mod myself . I can make this a complete kit or just provide the pipe. Any thoughts?

I might be interested as I was planning on attempting the ISR in the next week or two. How much would you charge (w/out shipping) and when would they be available?

If i can get a hold of some pipe, I wouldn't think it would cost more than a few bucks a linear foot, so including shipping for lightweight aluminum, maybe no more than 20 bucks or so just for the pipe. I'll have to do somemore research and see if it's worth it to try and do it. I think finding the right pipe would be the hardest part. I can just go to a muffler shop and buy piping, but I'm sure they would rape me on the price. Trying to do this mod on the cheap side to benifit eveyone I can.

Aluminum will cost a LOT more than Mild Steel... Stainless steel will be less than AL, too.

Not to step on your toes or your thread, but here is another solution to the 3.0 ISR mod that doesn't include bending pipe. I think it's a rather ingenious setup, too.

You could make pipe's and a kit for this one, if you wanted. I bet they'd sell rather well.

Thanks Dr. Z!

I was just looking to do this mod to get somemore juice out of my 93 3.0. If I could figure a way to do it at home and help people out at the same time, I thought it might be worth while. I not interested in making a ton of money or anything, just to recoup for time and material. I was wondering what type of pipe to use and where to get some. And no, no toes were stepped on.
