2JZ on the way!!!
OK I didn't want to say anything till I had the motor in my garage, but this is going to be way... to... SWEET!!!!!
I am going to order a 2JZGET turbo that will(hopefully) be pushing 600-700whp with some upgrades!
I have been talking to SuperRunner @ Supracharged.com about the engine swap! This forum is GREAT too!
http://www.supracharged.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=72
I am willing to spend about $12,000 on the project(now that I am going to sell my ex G35)
What do you think about my new project, YotaTech??

I think you should have kept the G35 and spent the 12k on mods.
Keep the 2jz in the supra. Maybe I'm kinda biased cuz the supra is my fav. vehicle but anyhow, good luck on the project. Show em what arizonians can do!

You'd have a button to activate it. It locks the rear wheels together at the differential so they spin together - for traction purposes. I have no idea if the pre-runners came with that option.
You could spend part of that $12k on a locker and some gears that better fit your motor and driving habits.

No, that stands for Electronically Controlled Transmission. It controls how long the computer holds out before shifting gears in the transmission. If you plan to offroad the truck or want better starts when drag racing, a locker would be a great upgrade. A Detroit Locker might be the best bet so you don't have to fumble for a switch to engage it. Do a search here on yotatech, there are pros and cons to the Detroit. An ARB Locker is also a popular choice but it requires an air comressor in the vehicle to engage it.
Randy's Ring and Pinion sells gears and lockers, but I know some people here have had issues dealing with them. There are other companies too, just none are coming to mind.
