Looks like nice looking seats and a pretty good price to boot IMHO. Off eBay? They look a hell of a lot more comfy than our Taco seats. If you get those things, give us an update on how they feel. I might have to get myself a pair.

Have you picked these puppies up yet? If so I might have to come down and give them a try... of course if it's alright with you. So they charged you only the $220? If they can help alleviate my back pain then it is well worth the price of admission!!!

No, haven't bought it yet... was just wondering what everyone's opinion was. Here's the link - the guy is in or near OC so maybe he's got some available to try...

I was in those seats last night...umm, I mean this morning... My friend has a Civic and they do runs in the mountains at night on the weekends here in Northern Taiwan, I was shaking the whole time in excitment and fear Anyways, I couldnt imagine racing without those seats. But... they are really hard to get out, I wouldnt put them in my DD, especially when you have a 3 feet drop after you push youself off those seats Make sure you guys try them out!

Hmmm good point.
Maybe a strategically placed "oh crap" handle or maybe even a properly built roll cage would be good for that, huh?

Why $220 when the auction link shows a BIN price of $139?
I would be interested, but I get the "you get what you pay for" feeling right off the bat. Heck, $139 seems like it would hardly pay for decent seat covers let alone a pair of custom bucket seats LOL! Even if he is dealing in odd lots that seems like an overly low price.
If they are good sturdy seats, I'd be interested in them for my '93 4runner. Can't say I'm very impressed with the stock seats.

Well, if you take a look at the shipping price, it shows $120, thus making $220 a good price compared to getting through the auction.

Duh...clearly I haven't been playing on ebay lately. Shipping used to be the first thing I looked for.
However, continuing my brain fade...why $220 for pickup on an item that is $139? $80 for the privilege of knowing their address?

The extra $80 is probably for the "handling" fee they charge us for having them to take it off the pallet, out of the box, unwrap it and hand it over to you.

Yeah.. it's a shipping and HANDLING fee.
Kind of ruins some of the deals you can get off Ebay :pat:

Hmm..this seems like its too good of a deal.

There is only one person who has purchased these in the feedback section. I emailed the buyer some questions to see what he thinks of the seats. Typically these kinds of seats are not the most comfortable to sit in for any length of time. It will be interesting to see what the purchaser has to say about the seats.

I have to admit I am interested but very skeptical - the local Pep-boys has some seats like these and they are very thin on cushioning. They would be great for short trips but I bet your butt would get sore quickly on longer trip.

You're saving me some work - I was planning on e-mailing the buyer later today.

Yeah, I'm going to be making arrangements to see these seats for myself before I really start pushing this thing. I just wanted to see if there was any serious interest out there.
