Toytec Lift Done / 2004 Q-Cab

Firstly...Hi everyone.

I've been considering adding a RevTek or Toytec lift to my black beauty. The yota's just stand proud wearin them and I know my truck will look great too.

The truck was the upper end unit with the TRD package when I purchased it. Since then, the seats were taken out and recovered in leather, a spray in bedliner was added, a 3 piece billet grill, nerfs, bug deflector and a Leer 100XQ canopy with yakima racks. Then...I just recently added new Toyo's and a nice set of aluminum wheels, so now it's time for the lift.

** Almost forgot.
The wheels you see here now have been changed out to Weld
wheels due to the fancy chrome [crap] peeling off after 5 months.

Anyways..

When I went to Les Schwab and got the new tires/wheels originally, they quoted me a price of $600 +/- to have the RevTek lift installed. When I went to get the crappy chrome plated aluminums swapped out, I told them I wanted to have the lift done on my truck. They jumped right on it and got me in that very minute. I was impressed I got in so fast. Then the guy I was dealing with looked at the computer and said the lifts we're out of stock.
He then told me that he had one made by RevTek in stock... for an additional $234.00. Well, you can imagine where the conversation was going then. They were going to install a Tough Country lift without telling me !!!!! NOT!!!!!

I'm wondering if you all here can tell me where the best/cheapest place to get a RevTek or Toytec lift online maybe. Cause I'm thinking of doing it myself.

Thanks Fellas !!

UPDATE: Today I decided to check out Ebay on the lifts available. I found two posts for Toytec. Well....I decided to get the Toytec TAC3-AL / 3" Pro Basic Kit for now. I was also thinking of the Bilstein 5125 Rear Shocks.

The truck only has 23,000 +/-miles on it...and I don't [for the time being] plan on doing anything extreme as far as off roading goes for now.

**What I would like is for recommendations to build up from where I am now, in the sense of keeping it logical/practical in my goal [tire clearance / looks].**

Then maybe down the road about a year I'll pop about $5000 and head for the extremes...LOL

But , for now it's my baby

Thanks Again !!

http://www.wheelersoffroad.com

I think I got a good deal on a lot of suspension stuff from them and they're from Oregon so NO SALEX TAX. They respond to their emails pretty fast so if you need to change anything with your order, you can do it before it ships.

They only have the RevTek lifts there though, but you might want to look at the OME stuff they have because their lifts max out at 2.75". Best of luck, post pics when you git-r-done.

Spacer Lifts = Ride like crap
Replacement Coilovers / Springs = Much nicer ride (on/off road)

It's worth the extra money (in my opinion)... do some research before making a decision either way.

Thanks guys for the replies

I'm already committed to the spacer lift from Toytec right now [will be here the 20th]
Though..I'm thinking about selling one of my boats and banking it with the forcast of another toyota. Not sure what year or anything as of now. But mainly what I want is to get the wheel wells away from the tires cause they're rubbing on the skirts on tight turns. I guess if the spacers make it worse, I'll take them off...LOL.
