2004 Highlander??
I've been looking at the Rx330 but can't seem to notice the $10k difference for the Highlander (especially since most people are paying sticker for the Rx330).
Anyone know what options the 2004 Highlander will have and when it will be out? I hear it will have a 3rd row option which isn't really important to me. Will it have a NAV system?
Any info would be appreciated

I don't know whether it makes any difference to you or not...
I drove a 4Runner SR5 ($33K) and a Highlander Limited ($33k) today and couldn't believe how much quieter and better the 4Runner was.

They want big bucks for the highlander. Toyota is touting it as "Lexus designed" and putting a Lexus price tag on it. I just can't see over $30,000 for such a small SUV.

Highlander .... Small SUV?????????
Hey everyone,
I would just like to add my two cents. My wife and I have been looking at the highlander since it came out.
That vehicle is in no way a small SUV. When I think of small SUV I think of RAV 4, CRV, SUZUKI SAMAURI.
There is more seat space in the highlander then both the second Generation and the third generation. The cargo room is slightly reduced.
I cannot deny that it is priced high, but I can say that this vehicle is a nice riding 4wd. This vehicle rides like a car, well thats because its basically a jacked up camry.
One of the magazines tested all three exploder, trailblazer, and highlander. DO a search on google... The Highlander came out tops, and both the trailblazer and exploder are body on frame truck construction.
Go drive one, you will see that there is way more creature comfort then the 'ol runna 1st,2nd or 3rd.
Goto yota's website and look at the specs and measurements of the interior........
Needless to say my wife wanted a Highlander, but we got her a second gen 1995 instead.
Give me more gas mileage highlander!
Mike:cry:
Ps. I still love my 'runna though, the both of them!
