2.4 cold start issue
I have a Tacoma with a gutless 2.4 L4 in it. The other day I had to take the battery out of the car. After reinstalling the battery whenever I start the truck cold the engine runs rough and has no power. When you try an accelerate the engine tries to die and if you give it more peddle it has what seems to be a lean misfire. Once you get it rolling for a few seconds it seems to clear up and the engine runs fine.
Is there some sort of cold start injector, or some type of enrichment circuit on this engine.
It's not exactly cold out here to be having cold start issues. Outside temp is over 105 degrees, but if it has a hard time at this temp then I wonder if it will start at all in the winter.
