1st gen pickups...different wheel bases?
Do the long and short bed trucks have a different wheelbase?

Yea, the long bed ex-cab really likes to go straight down the road at a cost of turning radious. The short bed reg cab has a much better radious you will notice when parking or turning around on a trail.

103" on the SWB (std. cab, and 4Runner), 112" on the long bed and early Xtra cabs.

i assume you mean a REAL first gen truck, '79-83?

shortbed - 101.8", longbed - 110.2"
