1998 Tacoma 2.7 Hard Cold Start
My tacoma is hard to start in the morning and seems to be underpowered for the first five miles or so. It starts ok when its warmed up although it doesn't fire like it used to. You kinda have to coax it going with a little gas.
I took apart the throttle body and removed the plenum and cleaned everything including the IAC. That solved the idle problem I had before and solved the hot start problem I had before. Runs much better after that. However, now there is the hard cold start problem. I replaced the plugs, coolant level is good. Cleaned the MAF.
Any got any ideas. Think it might be a fuel pump issue? Someone said there is a cold start sensor but I can't find much info on that. Any help is much appreciated.
Also, does anyone know why there are two brake fluid reservoirs. There is a small one in the drivers side back corner of the engine bay. Just wondering.

There is an intake-air-temp sensor combined with the MAF sensor.
Additionally, there is coolant-temp sensor.
Temperature-related issues are sometimes caused by a faulty temp sensor.
That little 'brake reservoir' is actually your clutch-master-cylinder reservoir.

check the IAC valve. mine was stuck and I had hot start issues.
I just took it out and cleaned it , there was allot of carbon in it preventing the valve from opening and closing. I think there are a few write ups on the board.

Scan it and read your temp sensor readings. If they are spot on then its not your coolant temp. It could possibly be your air temp sensor at the maf but i highly doubt it. That thing has very little correction factor on the fueling tables. Does your engine idle on the rough side? Could be burned valves looming right around the corner.
