1995 tacoma rear spring and lift

Hey guys, ive got a 1995 tacoma that i am finally having time to put back on the road, but i believe i bent my springs before i took it off the road before (turns out tacos cant tow car trailers with cars on them lol) so heres my question, i have the front of my truck lifted 2in with spacers (also do i need a diff drop for that? took the lift off my old truck and never compared the diff mounts but ive heard of them on here) but back to my original problem, ive got more leaves i can add to my current pack, and then i have 2in blocks to match my front end lift, is it a good idea to add leaves? i am looking to be able to put more weight in the bed and be able to tow more in general, im not too worried about the ride too much, i run load range e tires filled to 60-80psi anyways. or is it easier to just buy new springs? does anyone offer heavy duty springs? or something like the timbren rubber over load boosters? (spelling may be off on that) also i have the struts from my other truck that had the blocks in it i need to put those in too right? or does anyone offer a good cheap strut for that application?
thanks guys!

I just called the local spring shop and for 40ea they redo my springs if i take them off, They will heat treat them and put the factory arch back into them and the guy even said he would add the extra leaves i have to the pack no charge. how many do you think i should add? just one? i am also going to order a timbren load booster from them as well so im thinking of just adding one extra spring, my packs already have an extra overload spring i believe. they didnt come from the factory with 3 main springs and 2 overload springs did they?

In my opinion the re-arch is just a bandaid.
Block and spacer lifts suck.
You need legit heavy duty springs if you want to carry more weight without as much sagging.
Airbags could be an option.

i know the re arch is just a bandaid but i am hoping between those and the timbren load boosters i wont be able to overload and bend them again. My dad bought timbren load boosters for his f350 dually and weve put over 3ton in the back of that no problems and we were towing. He has had them for 10 years now and i dont notice any deterioration of the rubber or anything like that. They seem like a great product that help with out having to spend 400 on a pair of heavy duty springs. I agree its usually better to just replace and upgrade stuff like leaf springs but its just not an option moneywise right now. I am hoping between the rearch and adding a leaf or two i can get enough out of it for now. ive decided to hold off on the blocks in the rear for now.

ive seen airbags used before and i prefer the timbren design because it is failproof, airbags and pop or you dont have enough air in them. timbrens are solid rubber and act as the bump stop, when the spring is compressed the timbren goes between the leaf spring and axle and it just compresses, completely maintenance free

Air shocks and coil over shocks for Toyota trucks

Air shocks and coil over shocks for Toyota trucks

hi, I think I can be of help. Since 1936 my company A-1 Shock supplies air shocks, coil over shocks, and makes coil and leaf springs to fit your needs.
Air shocks allow you to control the amount of boost with the air pressure, coil over shocks are another way to get some boost and they are very durable, coil and leaf springs can be custom made stock, heavy duty, raised or lowered for almost all Toyota trucks. Made in the USA.

You can contact me at 800-344-1966 or 970-513-8283 for more info. Mark

i have just installed the timbren system tonight with 2.5in x 8.5in x 9/16in u bolts, as i said before air bags can pop and i need air on board to be able to adjust them to my needs. timbrens are auto adjusting to how much i need and have a much higher weight rating than most air bags. my father has them in his ford f350 dually and loves them, used to have a 3500lb truck camper (thats with bare essentials lol) that is hauled no problem
