Whats wrong with you hubs? A friend at school with an 82 is giving me his clean lubed birfields to instal in my axle. He did a longfield swap so there kinda extra for him. I'll pull apart mine later and clean and lube.

I'll try and document it as best I can. I often work alone so its a slow go and when my hands are greasy I overlook picking up a camera sometime.
Last night I sandblasted the axle housing, Trimmed my dust shields, blasted the hubs, capped the inner square front driveshaft. We are having a rare hard rain here, I'll take pictures later.

What did you end up doing with your custom skidplate, now that you're going SAS? You had a 4" bracket lift before, right?

How much shipped to 96161? Any pics of the mounting holes/spots? I know your truck is lifted but is the cross member essentially in the same spot so it will fit a non lifted truck? Or will it only fit a drop bracket lift...?

Ok I will back up, the lift kit is being sold along with the torsion bars and I think the skid plate. If that does not happen I will list the parts being sold. I believe the skid plate mount holes are the same as stock.

The studs that hold the lockout hub, a few are bent/striped

OK So the next thing to happen this week is the rear third goes on. that I am ok with in regards to the Gl5 gear oil, and the Permatex. / 82194.
Now the axle rebuild. i bought this grease (Valvoline synblend), I will use it in all points, Trunnion bearings, knuckle / bir'f innards and wheel berings. Now????????? should I use (extreme pressure Moly-Graph) in the trunnion bearings? And the syn blend everwhere else....
