watching some more of these, it is so weird seeing those front tires come closer together when they flex out.

I did some more work on my crossmember slash diff mount.i tied directly into the a arm mounting bolts. I ovaled out the holes so i can still move the cams slightly. i do plan on modifiying that so i can get full cam movment. The thing i like about this crossmember is that i can drop the third out with out onbolting crossmember.

When I started this thred I stated that I did not know if this was going to work. What I was talking about was the modified third member. At this point a have 2 wheeling trips on the modified 7.5 with no problems.I am going to start part 2 to this build but dont know what to do first. How I put together my 7.5 for center mount or how I modified my CV axles for a higher operating angle than stock. What would you like first ?

Back to IFS stuff.I was camparing OEM cv stuff to after market axles . I found that the after market stuff had smaller parts. I dont know if this means they are weeker but in my world smaller parts usally does.I`m not bashing I`m just sharring what I seen.

I love the stance of that truck! I know SASed trucks cannot be beat, but IMO I love my IFS too! There are other terrains besides rocks. SAnd, snow, mud, etc. This thread keeps me motivated on doing my long travel one day.
Keep up the good work man.

The truck is super stable. I like too wheel in the rocks as much as the next guy But i find it way more fun spending the day with my kids on there atv`s. So I`m building a toyota that does the sand and what ever we fill like riding that day. It is a family pre runner support truck.By the way it has wheeled all day with a broke down atv in back.

Trask mountain trail runners is the name of the club that I belong to.The videos are on privit property at a club members ranch. We are going to be bringing in a bunch more rocks and broken cement barriers in hops of holding some sort of off road event. A few pictures of my junk at the get together this year at the ranch. Have you heard of little birtha /switch back/ jeep trail/ bouchan trail/and our adopted trail is ginsberg ridge ?

I am going to try it on my 4Runner. The 4Runner is a 1986 SR-5. It has a Pro-Comp Stage II 4" drop Bracket kit and Blazeland Long Arms. I started mocking up a spare 7.5" front diff. The short side flange axle seems to fit correctly but only after a bit of mill work. To machine it down cost me $80...so start the build cost list. I had some fun building the temporary mock up hanger brackets. Anyway, this is a back burner attempt so it may be a while between updates.
