Very nice looking truck! What lift springs are you running up front? I know the TG 3" front lift springs are about 2" shorter than the 4 & 5" lift springs,( they fail to make that clear in their install instructions)looking at your pics, I'd agree with 85'turborunner, it looks like your hanger needs to go back an inch or so. Nice build, hope you get it figured out.

I know a ton of people run the rear shocks like you have them, hell I even did for a week but the ride was horrible. I went back to the factory position and it is way better.

Edit: By the way I'm a Steele also.
i cut off the hanger and moved it back 1 1/2". every thing is good to go now. just about have the truck done. any relation in humboldt county?

Decided to put trail gear rear leafs on and i plan on relocating the shock mounts.

Pulled the fuel tank to weld the inside of the front spring hanger and add a parking brake cable.

Finished up the rear today except the shocks. Can't figure out how I want to mount them. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have a set of shock mounts from trail gear laying around.

You're right about the grille... It's a 87-88 (+89 4Runner) style! Must have been changed somewhere along the line.
