Yepp sure is. I know our woods like the back of my hand. Its to bad they're trying to close more and more of it. That sandy spot above is now closed. As of like 3 months ago. grrrrrr i really loved wheeling up there.

AISIN's best for the money, I had a set of super winch on my 4runner that was doing the same thing. had bad luck with Warn too. just my experience.
Sweet build, started cutting the bed on my 82 but gave up and built a flat bed, glad to see yours turned out better.

Yeah i had to ditch those suckers. They seemed to work okay but were making my seals go bad all the time. Thanks for the props. I'm actually getting ready to ditch my bed and narrow my front. I plan on doing a temporary tube setup until i link the rear.

Well this is how my truck looks these days. Kind of a street queen being that i cant lock my hubs with the 37's yet. I'm waiting from new RCV Longfield designed shafts. Spent the extra coin to avoid any hassle with trail gear.

I did get a chance to finish my tunnel but that wasn't worthy of an update so i waited till now. I'm back to work on it this weekend. Going to trim and dove the box and trim my front fenders. I've got a new clutch slave to put in and a double diaphragm booster i need to put in also. Report back with pics here soon!!!

Needless to say it was a good weekend. The box turned out okay. It's not perfect and I'll consider it practice for a better box that isn't so rusty. I'll run it the summer and then make another one. I'll be pulling it back in tomorrow to do some more cosmetic work on it. It's mounted and even on both sides.

Before.

Thanks guys. I'll put up som finished pics when th bumper is back on. I'm also planning on moving the rear shackle mount forward. When it was welded in there, there was a guy living out of the back of it lol so there was alot more weight..

HAHA

That is too bad they are closing down nice areas to explore. Is it a designated trail that is being closed down, or is it just land that is no longer allowed to be driven on. I know, growing up in southwestern PA, there were alot of areas that you could go wheel at that were not a designated place for that. Rather just some "public" land that you could go to. They were and still are closing everything down and limiting where you can legally go. Kind of sad.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Its really not that nice haha. maybe i'll like it more when i get the bumper back on. Just wish i woulda found another bed first.

And trails are being lost everywhere, but we are getting a couple back here that are major attractions for people who come to the area to wheel. Kinda funny but all of our trails are named after cereals.
