Never intended on doing the calipers but decided my truck could use the extra 5 HP that red calipers give you.
And me actually doing something.

Looking good man, does the rear end "hop" when you make sharp turns on the street? I was told that happens when you weld them but didn't know if he was full of it or not.

It does but you learn when to be on the gas and when not to be. Its works for what i use it for. But it changes how you drive like any locker does.

It took me awhile to get used to changing my driving style with a rear locker. Like Stevesk88 Said, you have to learn when to be on and off the gas in a turn. I k now for me I either stay on the gas all the way through the turn, or let off gas completely until I am straight ahead again. But this all depends on what type of turn, where I am at, etc..

Well mine won't either really haha you need that little bit of loose gravel or just a little moisture durring the right turn and it'll kick out for ya. Drive it like you stole it man!!!!

Been getting ready to rip apart my truck again. Getting ready for crawlin season. Going to be getting gears, front locker, and possibly some Marlin 4.7's for my case. Maybe a duel adapter too. Just not sure yet.
Also need to adress my rear driveline wobble. Put a new hanger bearing in and it didn't make a lick of difference. Just made it drivable again.

Been beating on my truck more than working on it. Here's some nasty mud pic's. I don't do mud usually. But i really wanted to attack this spot if i was going to be muddy at all.

Duel case adapter is ordered. Along with a rear flip kit. Planning on ditching some leafs in the rear and turning my 63's in two leaf set ups. Flexxy Flexxy

So i got my duel cases in and turnin. Only issues i really ran into with it was the rear driveline. I shortened the shaft in front of the carrier and made mine work. I'm hoping i can put in the new carrier bearing and keep it two piece because it doesn't hang low like a single shaft would. But if i gotta make a single i will. I just want to see how this will work.
I also took out my overload leafs and 1 out of the pack, along with putting in my flip kit. Super super flexy now but it dropped the rear of the truck about an inch. Nothing some 35's and fender snipping wont fix. I'm loving it. It actually has some give back there now. Guess i wont be hauling a thousand pounds of scrap in it anymore

Little up date i've been needing to do.
I put in the leaf i took out, it sagged to much and was to bounncy. I wanted to avoid any axle wrap i could. Shocks are mounted through the bed but not by much. I utilized my old lower and uper shock mounts. I cut them off and made the ones from the plate, work on the axle. looks pretty fly
Little flex testing for shock measurements 8)
Also i got the hookup on some 5.29 thirds with detroits and a high pinion front for only 800 bucks!!!! SCORE.
Picked up some 37r16.5 tires and rims. TSL's for 500!! Another score!!! Siped them and they're going to work great for radials.
And how she sits now 8) ubber stoked

I made a rear bumper and some recovery plates that i still need to put pics up of. The rear bumber is strait beef. my d-rings look like something youd use on a dump truck.
Next up is some fender trimming. and i'm thinking about ditching the box and tubing the rear finally.

Plan is to have to bed gone this winter and move my rear spring hangers up at the shackle ( bad shackle angle). Build some kinda semi temporary tube rear until decide to link it. It gets in the way on our tight trails.
