Got the package on Monday and had my case in the garage by Tuesday night. I might have been a little excited.

all in all this was was simpler then i thought it would be. I didnt even need a press. took me about 6 hours to get it done.

I just noticed that i didn't take any pictures of the reduction gears. oh well.

im taking memorial day weekend off and going out to a near by desert here In California ( Anza Borrego) and ill see how that work out on the trail but as for just in general. man they are low! i cant imagine dual 4.70s

amazing!, i had a much better ride then my best friends 85 and the gears were great for the hill climbs. I stuck in 4th gear most of the time for the easy stuff that hard stuff just dropped to 2nd. I never missed my 2.28's

so I did it, 2 full days of work and now its driving.
stock setup

striped the frame completely all brackets gone

new srpings and front hanger tacked on.
my spring pack is this
86' main leaf
86' mill rap
86' 3rd leaf
85' mil rap cut down
85' 3rd leaf back half with new hole drilled
85' 3rd leaf front half. new hole drilled.

axle cleaned up and re installed plus hi steer.

just for fun

had only one real set back. they sent me 2 different shocks. so i waiting for the right one to be shipped to me . but this is how she rides with the back not done yet.

things still to do.

moved the shackle hanger back and made a 5 inch shackle.

square front drive line.

took it out this weekend to big bear Ca and ran 3 trails to test everything out.
Holcomb valley
John Bull
Gold Mountain

everything held up. never got stuck. but i did find out issue my drive side spring would hit the steering arm when i was stuffing. I guess it need a different drop arm. anyone know what the drop is on a standard arm the comes with the high steer kit?
