Also going to try to get my truck up to stock height, since mine is sagging front and rear and the ride is horrible. For the front i think im going to add a leaf to the pack and for the rear i might try the zuk mod since my dad has some leftover coils from a mustang. That or make longer shackles. I found some boomerang shackles on a 3/4 ton 2wdat picknpull so maybe I will snatch those up.

So last night i tore apart my front end for the first time. I took out and added a leaf from a chevy truck that had decent arch to the leaf. Took me 5 hours to do it!! After I was done, I gained a whopping .5 inch lift It rode better though. So later this week I will get longer center bolts and add a couple more leafs to see if that helps. Oh well I learned alot yesterday.

That's a good experience. And the only way you are going to learn is by doing it.

Did the blinker in the corner light mod today!! Happy with it. Since I made the Smittybilt I got awhile ago fit, my blinkers were zi[tied to the bumper. Talk about ghetto. Picture tomorrow maybe? Going to do my bedliner later this week. Ive thought about doing along the bottom of the cab/bed but Ill do that after I repaint my truck in the future.

Great pics man. Good job on the diff breathers. That's something I need to do.

Chicks definitely like scars. My wife likes driving my runner and I don't think it has a single panel without a ding, dent, or scratch. Haha.

Well it was raining, so I decided to do my bedliner. First I flexed out on some stumps, and then pressure washed my bed. Then went ham on sanding for about 2ish hours. Not fun! Put the first coat on about an hour ago. So tomorrow morning Ill put the second coat on. Also the bedliner i have is the Herculiner from walmart. Its a gallon and Ive used about a quarter of it. Ill use the left over stuff on my bumpers? Maybe rockers.

Good looking truck. Keep up the good work. Its awesome. Yota=Addiction Would have like a Yota for my 1st truck, but I had a 78 Bronco with 32's and a mildly build 351M that I use to yank alot of chevy and j**ps out with.

Getting some used rock sliders off a 4runner from my buddy today or tomorrow. If they are to short, I will just add a 'lil kickout. I'll post pics soon! And also, dont remember how the guessets should be. The sliders are square, so i was thinking just having little triangle guessets on each side of the leg to the scab plate.

Since I ripped my transfer case skidplate off the other day on a stump, I made a new one today. Its 3/16ths and I think Ill weld it to the frame some.
Getting better! [IMG][/IMG]

If you weld it cut holes for the drain plug

I agree, keep it bolted.

Looks solid.

Yeah I'll keep it bolted. I was thinking of welding it because one of the bolt holes is stripped out and it seems like the bolts will get hung up on things. Its held up great so far! I'll add another bolt because the left side has a gap between the skid and the crossmember.

I havent started on my rock sliders yet. I ended up just getting 15ft of 2x2. Im thinking of making hybrid sliders. Square for the base, and then bend some tube for the outside, since my dad has a tube bender :wabbit2:

Started my rock sliders lastnight. Got one done but I think I made my scab plates to small. They are 3x3''. They will work for now I think as I have seen people just weld the legs to the frame. Ill have pictures up next week!

Well I went wheeling at Elbe last weekend! I did inner and outer Alder, and sunrise? i think its called. My truck did great and didnt get stuck once. My rocksliders that i build worked great and saved me a couple times. I did put a little dent in my bed. Anyways I got some 4inch procomp front leafs for free. I took the bottom 2 leafs out and put 2 leafs out of my stock pack onto the main leaf. Going to put those on with 6.5'' shackles sometime this week and maybe get a set of mix matched 33s for now. I'll try to post pictures, since I dont have a smart phone anymore its hard to get some.

Put the leafs on I had with the shackles in the front, and did the zuk mod in the rear! It ride soooo smooth. In front I gained roughly 3.5 inches. In the rear I gained roughly 2.5ish. The front shocks were maxed out when sitting level, so I found some that were longer that i had laying around. Got some 10 inch travel shocks from picknpull today, dang they are getting expensive!! I wish other junkyards would let me in, since im only 16. Anyways going to find some shock towers or make my own this week. Again Ill tryyyy to post pictures. Also going to try to get the stuff to do chevy leafs in the rear. Off topic but somebody tried to break into my truck today. They cracked the passenger side vent window and when my buddy shut the door, neither of us seeing it was cracked, the window EXPLODED! We thought somebody shot us lol. So I made a temp. window out of aluminum. Dang vent windows. I find them useless.

Made a front tube bumper. Looks like the trail gear one but without a winch plate.
