1985 4x4 build up 328xxx miles!
A series of events led to me aquiring my new 1985 toyota pickup. To make a long story short, i pretty much traded my 1998 tacoma to my stepdad for the pickup. The trucks body is in excellent condition (besides a little bed rust). The motor is running like a champ! It has a rebuild almost 100k miles ago but is still running strong! Not sure what my plans are yet. Was thinking about ordering a 3 inch rough country lift at tax time, since my leaf springs are shot. But my 31s still have good tread. Has anyone installed a 3 inch lift with 31s? How did it look? This is just my toy and humting vehicle.

Pretty good looking truck you have. My 85 has Old Man Emu springs and as I understand it, it will give a 2-3 inch lift on it and I am running 31s on it if you want to get an idea of it. I have it listed in my link in my post if you want to take a look at it. Welcome to Yotatech.

Rancheros, I think the 5000 series if I am correct. I would check with them for the correct size. A got them from a friend of mine. I will be out in the shop tomorrow and see if I can get some better information. I think I still have a set of the rear shocks that I can look the information off of.
If you are looking for some lift, the OME are okay. I like a soft ride and these springs are not as soft as I would like. I just use mine for daily driver and seldom off road so factory set up works for me. For the little off roading I do have to do at times, I can make stock work for me. My long term goal is to go with stock springs.
