Sorry to hear bout your run of bad luck but congratulations on how you seem to keep coming out on top. The way you turned some bad situations around I know the motor aught to be worth the wait till the spring when you can get back to it.
Gonna show your truck to my 5 y.o. daughter and have a feeling we'll be painting "HER" '92 on an '85 frame that color being as her favorite color is green. Which I'll be all for, it's like a high visibility safety color too! LOL
Good luck man and keep up the good work.

The flood happened on Memorial Day, since then I finally got new tires and wheels and the water has went down enough to get truck out. Luckily I hadn't put the motor in yet.

Wow, you've really been through the wringer. I'm sure most of us have been through some trials and tribulations during our projects, but you take the cake. Good work, and impressive that you keep moving the truck ahead through all that. I would have called in quits long ago. Truck looks awesome, look forward to more updates!

Motors in!!!!!! Almost
put the new motor in today with new flywheel pressure plate clutch throw out bearing and pilot bearing. Then autozone motor mounts won't bolt to chassis. Damn it!!! Drilling new holes in mounts tomorrow. Also ordered shocks today and lime green seat belts will be here Monday.

Wooohooo!!!!!!!
She's finally running!!!!! Still need to fine tune timing and adjust valves. I installed all new brakes, drums, rotors, shocks and today I will be working on bumpers and putting dash back together. Amazingly my new stereo system that was completely submerged by the flood for a week still works!!!!
