Making a lil more progress!! I'm gonna lay down the paint in the morning!!
The hood was pretty rough. If you look at the previous pics you can see how smashed the front driver side corner was!!! Not anymore!!

Thanks for all the compliments!!! I thought by now I would have all the paint done except for the bed. But once I sanded down the passenger side door I realized how bad it was!! It needs extensive body work. I plan on doing that this weekend. I'm also going to rebuild my dash and I have a lil bit of floor to replace.

dash and wheels

After looking at my junk dash for awhile, I decided to bite the bullet and fiberglass the dash pad to get rid of all the holes and cracks.

Just taken out of the truck.

While waiting on the glass to dry, I sandblasted and powder coated one of my wheels to see what they are going to look like!

In the next pic you get a real good look at just how ugly they were.

A little progress on the dash. After 6 coats of fiberglass now working on filler. Hope to finish this weekend and paint.

After a few coats of primer. Several very small issues have popped up. Nothing a lil spot putty can't fix. I'm very happy with the way it turned out overall.

That turned out sweet
My pad is in good shape but that smooth shiny surface looks way better than stock

Lime green dash? That could cause bad reflections in the winshield. A nice textured black paint would be sweet and hide small imperfections but it's not my truck and I like what you did so far!

Thanks. I don't think it will, I have a buddy with a metallic blue dash. It doesn't cause a problem.

That's amazing work. I've heard that polyester resin will melt foam, like a dash. Did you use poly or epoxy resin on the dash?

Good to know. It's a lot easier to get. I am enjoying your build. I have a feeling this isn't your first restoration.
