thanks guys! I bought the truck about 6 months ago...bought it from a local guy who bought it brand new in 1980...the frame was rusted real bad so i had to do some patching and what not before i could do anything....got about 20 hours or so into the flatbed...lol i couldnt decide what i wanted to do so i just started building and thats what i came up with...added the cb, bucket seats and built the center console last weekend....spool and gearing next....

Thanks Man! The seats are called ZX2...not sure what they are for but they were a little tall so i put them directly to the floor on a little slider and just welded them to that little bar that goes across the floor for the Bench..

Its doing my heart good to see so many other guys also working up a 80 model. I had been starting to get a bit discouraged form the lack of some of the odd ball parts that are just plain missing on mine. Well done on yours.

I see alot of raw potential with this rig!
It's a beauty in hiding, and I hope you can really make things happen the way you intend!
The bed and bumpers are pretty fantastic looking.
I think so too, didn't they have an Escort ZX2 line just before the Focus rolled out?
Whatever the case, Ford doesn't screw around on their interior stuff, I'll bet those escort seats will live as long as the truck.
Come to think of it, those are the same fabric patterns as the Ranger seats in my truck!
