KDSS or no

Time has come to replace my 2003 V8 limited and the 2010 Trail is one of the choices. The only option that I'm considering is the KDSS. Does anyone have experiences with it? Is it worth the $1700 they asking? I did some research on it and it seems that it does a good job when wheeling. Initially i doubt i will take it offroad, but will definitely take it couple of years down the road.

As the owner of a 2010 Trail with KDSS I can voice my opinion. The KDSS is good offroad, it disconnects the sway bars off road for articulation, but on road is where the KDSS shines. This being my 3rd 4runner I have always been pleased with the on-road handling, handles more like a car than a truck, anyone that has driven a tahoe will know what im talking about. This is hands doewn the best onroad handling 4runner I have ever been in, it barely moves in turns and feels way more like a car than a truck. I love the KDSS and I would highly recommend it...

Thats good news. Do you think it may be a problem later on when I want to lift it an change the shocks? I'm not sure how the KDSS will work with aftermarket products
