New to the site.

My name is Justin and am currnetly in the USAF stationed in NC, I have been a long time and multiple Yota owner. My current car is a 1995 Lexus SC400 which I have some nice plans for and will post a build thread later. My love for Toyotas started over five years ago with a 1989 Toyota Supra NA-T, then bought a 1984 Toyota Corolla Coupe that I swaped in a 4AGE when my MA70 was stolen while at basic, then I bought a 1986 Corolla Hatch and swapped in a SR20DET black top(I know BLASPHEMY! but was quick as hell) then bought a 1995 Lexus SC400 and did a W58-1UZFE build, only 1 0f 7 in the USA, and then hydroplaned and totaled it so it is now my parts car for my current SC400. I do not have a 4Runner or LC as of yet but will be looking for one in the coming year so I figured id join and do some research on current builds and see what route I would go when the time comes, I will be looking for either a FJ60 or FJ80 as my top two then if one cant be found I will look into the mid 80s 4Runners(22REs only). Let me know what you guys think.

Ok here are some pics of the SC400.

Pic of the custom exhaust 3" madral bent.

This current project is one of my highest quality builds and will be pretty fun, but I have to say the build that was the most fun to drive was the AE86 with the SR20DET, the engine/tranny was hard mounted in with a one peice driveshaft and K sport drift coilovers set on the tightest setting so trying to use it as a DD and getting road rage was not an option because the car would just get away from you, but at VIR, Road Atlanta, and some of the other drift events I went to this car borderline scared me. I just hated the up keep on it because the aftermarket axles available for the car just couldnt hold that engine even when I had the boost turned down. I am trying to keep this car as a fun/dd/sleeper.

Oh I just picked this up not too long ago. A white manual 2002 Toyota Tacoma SR5 2WD. Just installed a Fabtech 3" front spindle lift with 1" strut spacer and 2" rear shackle lift with 15x8" Pacer Soft 8's and 30x9.50" BFG KOs. I've been busy since I got back from the desert this time round.

the day I bought it

after the mods

Decided to black out the truck a lil bit and sold my old camper shell to purchase this one....yes it will be painted white to match the truck. I will also be building a grid type bed storage/box spring setup so I can put in a mattress and have storage.....I will post pictures of the progress once I start building it. How it currently sits.

If it were 4WD I would consider it but it is just a 2WD, and my Soarer is the project pit so more than likely wont go the route of 4WD swaping.

Just put the canopy on the Lex since the paint matches and throw the body kit on the yota, you'll save a ton on paint!
