Some catching up to do. I took the Z to a Cars and Coffee meet, last month. To my surprise, there were 3 other early Z's, in attendance. I got a spot next to another '73...

There were a couple hundred cars there, from Civic's to Ferrari's. After the gathering, some of us took a drive into the hills...

It was a good day. Met some new friends, and got to show my son some cool cars...

A couple weeks later, the car had a failure, on the way home from work. Had to get it towed home, at midnight...

Harmonic balancer came apart...

Snagged one off my old motor, and it's back on the road.

Since then, I've also replaced the drive shaft u-joints, and ordered a clutch master cylinder. The brake booster is leaking, too. I'll have to order one of those, or find a core to have rebuilt. For now, I'm just dealing with a stiff pedal.
Gotta love 40+ year old cars!

I hate to revive an old thread, but I've found this car for sale in southern California and had some questions about how much rust damage it had. I inspected it and found the holes in the A-pillar and roof. Everything else seems in good shape, but I'm worried the green paint could be hiding quite a lot. Anyone know contact info for malteserunner? I know he's the one who painted it green and was wondering if he could give any more insight as to whether it is a good buy.
