Guilty of same.
My friend called it an "unplanned upgrade opportunity", which I see is exactly what you have done.
Mine's awaiting new paint and some other bits, but I couldn't not ride it in the meantime.
(Nice bike, BTW. Love the paint & enhancements!)

I got rid of my Silver FJR (thanks to a teen driver on a cellphone) and the insurance company was gracious enough to let me replace her with this beauty....my Blue Angel!

i thought i posted mine in here! but i guess not..

when I bought it, with lots of problems:
after fixing lots of problems and putting lots of money into it:
then I blew it up. the conrod bearing gave out and completely ruined my [brand new] top end. luckily it crapped out before i hit the top of the jump, otherwise i would have been over the bars. now it is completely disassembled in my garage. rebuilding the top and bottom, powdercoating the frame, fixing suspension issues... big bucks

not a huge Buell Fan but i love V-Twin sport bikes.... I have an RC51(this is number 2 for me) I had a TL1000R. and when I get back from my trip to Kuwait I am buying my self a used KTM RC8. I am stoked!!
