Painting Motorcycle headers

The headers on my bike are really getting corroded from old age...

Anybody know of some good semi-gloss black high temp paint?

Do i use high temp primer as well?

im new painting exhaust..

Clean them real well with a scothc brite and get any imprefections or bumps off. Then go to local auti parts store and get VHT 1500* high temp paint.
OR
use header wrap

heat wrap is pretty bad ass looking... plus you can get it in black.... otherwise... harley davidson sells a very nice high temp black paint and primer... it holds up really well and isnt too pricey either

i have yamaha also....but looks like this...and yes that is mine...its a 1993 Seca II XJ600....with 10k miles


its my first bike....im really excited....i dunno if im gonna do the wrap or not...unless i can find it in black

I get my exhaust system "jet-coated". Its pricey but lasts forever.

On my old yz, I sandblasted the pipe and painted it with some high temp bbq paint. Didnt look too bad, and stayed on there pretty good.


Just an idea.
