I know around here, (N.E. Ohio), all the dealerships have new leftover stock. Like,07's & 08's that they are practically giving away..... Just something to check on.... Yamaha is the only one that doesn't have a bunch of leftovers so you will pay top dollar for new.

I'll see if i can find out, I was just in the honda shop a couple weeks ago. I was thinkin about a new trail bike (crf250x) The guy there was telling me about all his leftovers... The 250 was an 07 and he has 2 of them. There were like 5 or 6 4wheelers on the floor also. Check out your local shops, tell them that you are looking for a new leftover. They get anything you want. I dont know if they would tack on some extra charge to find one though
See if you can find Gollans Honda online and check out the inventory. It's in Warren, Ohio

i was just curious to see what their prices were. If i were to save a handfull of cash, i wouldnt mind having it delivered lol. People are putting crazy prices on their toys, looks like they are trying to squeeze out on the buyers and make the most profit.
might get a 2nd toy. perhaps a raptor 350 for the woman not sure yet

The 400ex's from what I read are pretty solid all around quads and can usually find a good used one for around $2000. Another quad to check out would be the ltz400 which is usually around the same price plus they have reverse which makes them a better choice.
I do however love my YFZ450 that I picked up for $1800 with exhaust, K&N, nerf bars, aftermarket A-arms, extra set of rear wheels, plus all the stock parts. It smokes my buddys raptor 700 on the straights and corners

all 450r's will eventually have the crank seize. same as a 450 dirtbike, change the oil very very often and keep the air filter clean, the 700 raptor is bullet proof, very good top end, the 660 raptors with higher hours were prone to second gear failing, in my opinion a raced unit is a better buy because racers usually maintain there stuff far far more thoroughly than a weekend warrior. just my two bits, im a service tech at a honda yamaha and suzuki dealer.

holy i forgot this thread existed lol. Actually it's been a while since i've browse this forum! Good to be back. Anyways i have a 450r now. I've had it for a little while now and I'm having a winter project with it. Giving it some new looks and performance mods. What i've done so far is get rid of the red plastics and put on black. Redid the suspension. I'm light and the stock shocks felt like a log wagon! lol. Also i put on a new pipe and jet kit. Soon in a month or so i will have Cp 12:5:1 piston and hot cam stage 2 installed. Also I put on a tach meter, new grips, anti vibe steering stem, tires, nerf bars, bearing carrier, +2 rear axle, rear brake pads, new clutch lever (now i can pull with one finger), and hand guards.
Now it's time for pics! I will start with the old and list to the newest latest pics.
I picked up the bike and bought this trailer.
Some goodies came in the mail!
Armor
First camping trip with it, Yes i had to make my own platform for my 450 lol
My bearing carrier went to ˟˟˟˟ and steering stem was bent, so i replaced those. In the mean time, i did alot more than just those two things! lol
New shocks
put the new axle and bearing carrier in
case saver
bikemaster truegel battery
nerf bars and hand guard and full exhaust
this is how she sits now!

Ok of u want a quad I wouldn't consider a 660 raptor to top heavy and front end happy. 450 are nice all around quads any of them really. I'm not a fan of Polaris but the predator is a nice machine kinda korky but they are decent. Cannondals are sweet machines more like a exotic quad but never heard anything bad if u keep them stock to bolt ones super tourqe machines feel stable. 400ex are ok stock form know if u find one that's done up a little 426 or 440 they are pretty sweet I like them better than the 450's when they are done up just feel more planted and u don't feel like u ride on top of the quad. I personally love my 2-strokes lol but I still give props to 4strokes I love them all I own and built my trx250r I only trail ride its all preference try different machines they all got up and downs fine what u like best then share some pics with use

We've got a 2007 Trx 400ex and it rides like a dream! I'm right at 6 ft 175 and it feels perfect..plenty of power to get up to 60ish, but it's tame enough to ride the kids around in relative comfort. Great fourwheeler!
