88 4runner 3.4 five speed $3500 ***SOLD**
**SOLD**
Location: Kansas City Kansas
It is very hard to find a v6 5speed 1st gen 4runner (v6 only available in '88-'89) let alone a 3.4L swap. Plus there is virtually no rust on the frame and body. I bet 9 out of 10 1st gen 4runners sold on craigslist kc have some rust issues. All modifications have less than 10k miles on them. Has power windows and locks. The rear window works.
Here is what I have done to it:
3.4 swap (Came from a '96 4runner with 140k)
OBDII
AC works (uses r134a)
Radiator
Radiator hoses
PS pump
Drive belts
Clutch
Flywheel
Pilot bearing
Throw out bearing
Fuel pump
Fuel filter
Toyota timing belt
Toyota water pump
Toyota belt tensioner
Toyota thermostat
Toyota valve cover gaskets
Toyota pcv valve
Denso 02 sensor
1" body lift
2" hitch
Cold air intake
Toyota Master clutch cylinder
Toyota slave cylinder
Rear Drums (new pads, hardware, and drums)
Rear axle seals
"Zuk Mod" (fixed rear sag common in these trucks)
Front and rear shocks
Front wheel bearings
Toyota Manual hubs
Kenwood head unit with 6 new speakers and amp
Cigarette lighter
Toyota ignition cylinder
Toyota door lock cylinders (keys don't match ignition)
Toyota passenger side window switch
Auxiliary fuse block
Optima Redtop battery
Aftermarket rear bar bumper (previous owner did this)
Digital multifunction gauge (Has about 100 functions. I use engine temp and average/instant MPG)
Roll on bedliner
Now this truck isn't perfect. It needs a couple of things.
Needs paint (I have sanded it. I painted it navy blue previously but it was too runny so I sanded most of it off)
PS box rebuild (Only because it has a small leak, I have the kit to rebuild it)
Speedo cable whines (just needs to be lubed)
Back up lights don't work
Price is 3500. I hate to see this truck go but I would hate it even more if I let it sit around. Nothing beats driving this 4runner with the top off on a nice day.
Pm me for more pictures
