On my 1986 Toyota truck 4x4,can I use 225/75/15's on the front with 235/75/15's on the back? Will it ride differently?

Sure, it's your truck. Run whatcha want. 4x4 will be weird.

You asked same question with different tire sizes on pirate.

Muddpigg,Yes I posted a similar question on Pirate with different size tires.Friends were going to give me tires,as I need two good ones for the front. Was going to move the back good ones..235/75/15's up front and put the others in the rear.If I had gotten the 225's those would have gone up front.Looking for two good 235's at this point.

wouldn't you want matching sizes so you can rotate your tires? it was common to put larger tires in the rear back in the day for a raked look on many vehicles. for 4wd purposes you may run into binding issues due to difference of size. for street purposes, put the ones with best tread in the front since you steer with those.
