31" tires narrower than 10.5, bias ply vs. radial for '82

If your wipers have 3 positions other than "off", the first click will make the blades wipe only every 15 seconds or so, the others are continuous wiping slow or fast.
Not sure if the '79-'80 wiring harness connects to the same kind of box on the wiring harness but I got mine out of an '83, it's an SR5 feature. My friend has an SR5 '79 with that option, so I know they had it, just not sure if it's the same relay. Once i found that wire and tried it temporarily connected (singled it out from the others that were connected to other things at the plug) it worked, I soldered it in.
Yeah, if you have the front 4x4 hub lock sleeve cap things for my style of wheel I'd probably trade for the lone rim with hubcap prongs. I'll never use it, it's just a matter of do you actually get a chance to get up here, if so, have I still got the wheel.
The paint thing reminds me of the staining I've been doing on a house lately. Any porosity in the metal gets saturated with thinned paint, the layers go on nice and smooth. I think that's a great way to do it, and I'm glad I asked.

I'm not sure if I have the wheel you are after. I compared it to the one in the 1979 truck owner's manual I got from a parts truck a friend had. Real life photo is of the one I got from that truck, also. It's tread similarities of stock tires to your wonderful Yokohama 742s.

I only posted because I noticed this wheel I have is different from the one pictured in the manual. I had never seen one of the Toyota hubcap rims with the hub cap off. This one I have has a 15" tire on it, and was riding in the spare carrier of a '79. The other rim I have has no features on the face of it. So I do not have the rim you or I thought I had.
