2nd gen 4Runner stock tire size options

Hey guys, first post! Will 30x9.5R15 STT Pros fit on a stock 90 4Runner? I don't want to trim though. If they will fit what is the max size I'm looking at? I've got 4.10 gears so power shouldn't be an immediate issue. Thanks!

yes, some came stock with 31x10.50's. A lot depends on the condition of your rear springs since they tend to have a saggy butt
some have been able to fit 33x10.50s on stock suspension

Ok that was my next question I've heard that a 1.5" lifted spring would make the rear actually level. Is that true?

again that is all relative to the condition of your springs. with out seeing your truck I can't tell you if it would bring it level
That being said here are a couple of pics of my 94, the top pic is my truck on 35's with FJ Springs in the back and 4" leaves up front.
The bottom picture is the the same with the additon of 1.25" spacers (i just installed them yesterday)

so you can use that to judge if a spacer will do the trick for you.

Ok Guys, I've got another question so my 4runner has the 15x6jj wheels and unfortunately those stt pros that I want have a minimum recommended wheel width of 6.5"... would any major issues arise from mounting the tires on a slightly too narrow rim or will it even fit at all?
Thanks

If your never going to air them down then they will "probably" be fine. If your planning on running then aired down off road then I wouldn't. Also finding a tire shop that will put the "wrong" tire on the "wrong" rim is a lot tougher today than 15-20 years ago. This is probably due to lawyers.
