I have a duel fuel Colman campstove just one tank with a burner on top and found that on the trail a can of any kind of warm soup is a great delight. It only takes about 5 mins to warm up and is quick and easy. Also some rolls or bagels to dip in the soup is a good combo. Just last weekend in Elbe Wa I had chicken and dumplings with a bagel can't wait to get back on the trail. Happy wheeling

mmmm, worm soup...

i usually get myself a good sandwich to take with on day wheeling trips - I like Newcastle, CA's Cheese Shop "Rat Trap" sandwich on dutch crunch.

Have you guys ever had an omlet cooked in a zip lock in boiling water? Its great you should try it out. Pretty simple and also good on the trial if you have a safe place for the eggs.

I'm going to have to try that out. I could see keeping eggs on a tougher trail being hard to do.

I will scramble the eggs first at home if I am going some where that I know I will be hitting so rough stuff. My personal recipe is green and red peppers with some pepper jack cheese salt and pepper. It is way better though if you don't cook the eggs first. I would say try it out at home so you get the idea and then take it to the trail.

Snow wheelin and sledding: camp fire with hot dogs and hot coco

Regular variety of snacks and whatever wife will fix me.

Wheeling and camping: chili (vegeterian or meat) cooked in a dutchoven (not farting under covers and trapping you signif under them) with corn bread.

Cashews peanuts almonds rasians and chocolate chips if it wont be to hot.
