Here is the trailer I want in the future, the Adventure Trailer Chaser.
Check out Casper's here.
I put up a thread on the new Maggiolina AirTop tent over there, as I first saw the new tent by another owner over on IH8MUDs site.
There were only two in the state, and the other one belonged to Mike, owner of www.autohomeus.com the US site for the Italian tent maker company.
As soon as he saw the new tent, he ordered one.
He had to wait for the shipping container from Italy to land at Mike's place.
He just picked up the tent last week and installed it on his trailer.
I have a thread in this section here too on the new AirTop tent.
Here are his links though over on Expo.
Very sweet setup.
The tent is basically the same as mine, but you do not crank it up like mine.
Undo the latches fore/aft, and gas struts lift it up.
More stretch out room due to no scissor jack mechanism at each end.
Plus it now has front/read doors too besides on the sides like mine.

Below are a few pics from the three links above.
Adventure Trailers now has a tear drop trailer too that can take the punishment of off road driving.

Check out the video they have for it.

I am building a military M416 1/4 trailer. I got the metal for the lid bent up today and have a few more things to fab up. Here is the build on expo http://www.expeditionportal.com/foru...ad.php?t=41815

Thanks Corey. I need to update it this weekend. Tomorrow morning I hope to get the lid skin all welded on and everything all cleaned up. I need to finish fabbing my jerry can holders and make a tray that latches on to the outside for a propane tank setup at camp. Then prep and paint...RTT and camp!

Cool, do you have a buildup thread over here on it?
I will be working on my roof top tent this weekend.
I need to replace one of the screens that ripped about 2" last year.
I use to have the screens rolled up when putting it away, and Mike from AutoHome said to not have them rolled up, but just to fold them in along with the canvas doors when putting it away.
It must have go pinched somehow and ripped.

If you have the funds to buy one, I would go with an Adventure Trailers Chaser or Horizon.
Both are made to be abused in off road situations.
They also make an off road teardrop one now too.
All are pricey due to the extra tech put into them to take the abuse off road.

Thanks Corey. Any other manufacturers I should know of? Also, if anybody knows of where to locate an old military trailer as mentioned above please let me know.

Thank you Corey and Aviator...it's getting fun now that the finish details are coming together. Now that it's getting darker sooner, when I get home from work I spend the night doing wirirng hook ups. This will allow for a pretty quick install of the electrical system to have thinks soldered, shrink wrapped and ready to go. Here's a few poser shots. ARB RTT tent and awning this weekend
First trip out is Oct. 16,17,18,19th..so lots to do!!

Looks very interesting Titan... does it normally sit that nose high on the hitch or is it just an illusion/photo location effect....
are you using a standard hitch/ring and pintle/ or universal articulating hitch set up?
I might consider adding a tailgate type thing on the trailer to allow you a "porch" to wipe off your boots before you enter the trailer...
