4runner luging 2sets of tires?

This might be the wrong section but Im getting reaxy for a 3 day trip at los cayotes indian reservation, its about 150 miles one way there.I have two sets of tires, one set of street 31s and a very noisy and rough set of 33 mtrs. I think i can get my gear pluz 2 tires inside and 2 up top. I really dont want to bring a small trailer just for rubber so is it worth it? Ive never put long miles on the mtrs.

If you're 1st set is crack/leak free, has good tread, and is properly inflated, they should by no means fail. Keep a good spare just in case, but those 3 days and 150 miles should be NO cause for worry. I've put well over 800 miles on a set in a day, so I'm sure 150 will be easy enough. Be prepared and you'll do fine!

I drive that far on my 35s every other weekend. Put on the 33s and don't think twice about it and have glory in the fact that you own a 4x4 with REAL TIRES!!! assuming its the 4r in your sig, having tube bumpers, sliders and a lift and being concerned about rough riding tires is just plain silly. Check your air pressure and tread pattern for proper inflation, it will use different pressure than your 31s will.
