94 4runner 4.3 & np208

Hey guys I'm new to yotatech & I have a question that I hope y'all can help with. I've got a 94 4runner with a 3.slow and auto trans. I managed to pick up a 91 4.3 with the wiring harness and CPU for $400. And a buddy of mine gave me a 700r that he pulled out of his fullsize blazer. I want to put a 208 behind the trans to help cut down on costs. They're pretty easy to find in my area. Anyway my 4runner has a 4" suspension lift and I plan on putting a 3" body before I start the whole swap process. What I want to know is what kind of fab work will need to be done to make the 208 fit or will it fit without too much trouble? Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think the 208 front drive shaft output is on the driver side and the ifs diff is passenger side. But Im not sure. A tbi 4.3 will only put out about 160 hp.
Unless you do a bunch of mod's then you might get to 200 hp. My 95 4.3 cpi has 195 hp stock. It's a lot of work to swap in a 4.3 but it was fun and they are supper easy to work on. If you want easy swap go 3.4 and it will bolt in.

The 208s are passenger drop on the ones I've seen. The straight axle Chevys are on that side. I know it's been done before in a Toyota I was just wondering if any custom fab work was needed to make it work. I thought about the 3.4 but Chevy motors are way easier to work on and parts are cheaper. And my brother has swapped one in his 4runner and he did his own wiring so hopefully I can get him to help me lol. This isn't my dd it's mostly for hunting and mud riding. Maybe a trip up town every now and then
