4.3l Carbureted
I know there is probably a thread somewhere on this MASSIVE site, BUT. I am curious if anyone has put the 4.3 v6 in with a carburetor? I ask because im not GREAT with electronics. My other question would be if i go with fuel injection i have to get the harness and computer from a donor vehicle as well but doesn't the computer run alot more than just the EFI? and if so what and how hard is it really to put this in? If someone knows of a thread that discusses this please let me know where it is.

Several threads discuss it, just search.
You can have the ecu reflashed so that it doesn't control more than just the motor. With some years and transmissions you don't even need a reflash, just unplug everything you don't need and run it. It'll shoot codes but who cares
I ran the 4.3 with a carb for 4yrs. Used the holley 390cfm. Worked good but it's really a step down from the efi systems. If you do any hill climbing or off camber....
