4.3 vortec a/c help
Hey guys,
I am about 95% finished with swaping a vortec 4.3 from a 98' Blazer into my 87' 4Runner. The a/c was working fine when i pulled the engine from the blazer so i see no reason in not using the 4.3 compressor if possible. Has anyone done this with there swaps? Any info on fitting sizes, wiring, or anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have not hooked up my ac yet but a guy in my 4x4 club with a 4.3 in a 4runner , stock gm ac pump said he took the toy and gm lines , marked where they should be spliced together . Then took them to a hydraulic hose shop and they made new hoses with the ends he brought in. I didn't get a price but he said it didn't cost much. And just hook up the toy clutch wire to the gm clutch.
