heres a better pic taken off a cmm so these measurements should be accurate to a few tenths of an inch (.0002in)

and btw the bolt pattern is rotated ten degrees clockwise from shown position to level shifters I just used the top straight edge as a reference to get an x axis to measure off of but the pattern is perfect

I am definitely interested in the dowel hole to crank position too. In fact, how much would you charge to make me a plate and pilot bearing adapter? it looks like you have the equipment to do it, and I am pulling my 3vze next week to start my project. I had decided to make them myself (because i am extremely financially strapped), but my access to proper machines is limited. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'll post up the om617 block pattern here today or tomorrow when I get back to where I have it. On mine using these numbers I was able to get input shaft to pilot bearing dial indicated to .002in. If I was able to make another one it wouldn't be for a long time as im getting swamped with real work work and getting married here soon. But if you get just the tranny dowel holes and the om617 dowel holes put in by a shop doubt they would charge much at all for 4 precise holes and that's all the necessary precise work you need you can open up all the rest of the holes enough to hand drill or use a drill press and be a little sloppy cause all that really matters is the pilot to input shaft relationship.

first one is all the block and oil pan and dowel locations second one is a very accurate dowel to crank location. I made a plate with these dowel dimensions and the r150 dowel locations and had .002" runout between the pilot bearing and input shaft bearing

r150 bellhousing pattern for making adapter plates..

aredding2010

after about 5 hours of preparing a plate to mount an om617 to a gm 700r tranny, i trusted your measurements and convinced my machinist friend to start drilling. i admit that i was too tired to double check before we started making to dowel pins for the om617. excuse my lay man language but the horizontal plane of the om617 plate and bolts, nearest to engine center, did not look at the correct angle. i was too frustrated and tired to measure again!
i wanted to revisit this site to contact you. do i understand that you had rotated the pattern for a reason or another? which one of the too dowels is correct if any? does is mean that if i rotate my patter, counter clock wise, i would be correct? could you please publish or send a standard patten is you had initially obtained before rotation?
thank you. my machinist is not happy with me; i have to correct my wrong.
Adam,

I am very interested, thank you for posting it. How about the exterior profile, or did I miss that?

Has anyone used the top image?

Does anyone have any idea which holes are which? Does it have dowel pin holes?

Mostly just trying to find the r150 dimensions as I can't seem to find them anywhere! Have looked for the last two nights and found lots of places where the information was but none that still have the images actually posted.

Looking to make a TDI to r150 adapter.
