Thanks RamblinOn. My hope was this thread would help someone else out.

Beasty- I am not sure what you want to do for cooling. I am not sure with the w56 in the stock location if you could clear a mechanical fan. You may not need a drive shaft if you can leave the crossmember in the stock place. You can also use the stock alternator if you want. I didn't see a pilot bearing adapter on your list. Luke can get you one.

617 swap in Cache Creek BC

I am running one in Canada. It is doing great. 8k last summer and a few bugs but all is well and doing a few things in the shop this winter. It drives good and perfect power for the toyota. Bit slow in fast highway driving but you are not in a race car. Daniel
