I sure wish you were closer so I could see your truck in person. Looks great. I am just starting my swap.

Anyways, The truck is complete and drives like a dream. Had to work out some kinks but it has great power and I'm averaging about 27 mpg. It was down on power but i figured out the throttle travel was limited by about half which made it feel like it had no secondary. Adjusted that and the truck is an animal.

I have a M pump on order through dieselmeken and hoping for 200 ish hp. One problem i am having is cooling. Normal driving it never gets hot but when i hit long hills towing or loaded down my temps skyrocket. I know half my battle is my fans not pushing nearly enough air so thats the first approach to fix the problem. We'll see where that takes me.

I will post some videos soon of it running and driving. Sounds great!
I have a full 3 inch straight pipe in the factory location to a 4" tip.
Im running 14 psi of boost and my egts are in great shape with the intercooler. I never see anything over 950. I have 4.88 gears and 35s and seems like the perfect ratio for comfortable driving. Gets great mileage at 65 and will pull all the way to 85.

Other than that I love the swap and would do it again for the power, reliability, and mileage. Any questions, feel free to ask! To anyone in Vancouver, WA area, I would love to see your rigs as well.

Cheers.

I Know this is an old thread but I need help with the wiring how and where did you wire you're alternator in to? I'm gunna be running the Dakota digital alternator tachometer deal but I don't know how to wire that in also. Anybody got any ideas or tips on how they have done theirs?

@Jrmyers94 To answer all of your questions from 6-7 years ago.... You can't run pusher fans on these. Need to use puller fans. V6 3VZ radiator 2-core, aluminum or original both work. 22R is too small.
35's should have 5.29's. These need to be geared the same as the gassers they replaced. Otherwise you're lugging it and it'll get hot. Never drive below 2400 RPM.
Upgrading the turbo to an HE200 or HE221 that I sell will drop the EGT's by 300-400°! The reason these ran so hot was largely because of the terribly restrictive factory turbo's.
With that M pump, you'll want to be running 30psi to burn up all the fuel. The 221 will match perfectly with that while still giving early boost.

@Chris J Bristol I have a thread on here specifically for that. Just search for it.

I've been looking through and I can't find it, what's the name of the thread or could you just go over it real quick for me?
