Runs great. I might mess with the pump down the road. but for now I still need to have the exhaust done. Maybe next week.
Just ordered a CBI front plate bumper kit.
Now I do have to many tires

235/75R15 for plowing
31/10.5/R15 plowing
33/14.5/R15 for off road only tires are almost tread less. But work great for the I don’t care route
33/10.5R15 Hercules MT for more show than go
34/9.5R15 for show and trials
All have rims also I have a addiction to things I don’t really need.

If it makes you feel any better, up until Monday, I had the stock 225's, my current 37" daily driven Toyo MT's, and my off road park bias IROK 37's. Finally sold the 225's after 2 1/2 years on craigslist lol

Wowza! My front bumper cost me less than $200 to make with the Herculiner and paint. How much assembly was required on yours?

so i was wondering how does the gearing feel with the 22re tranny?
i ask because when i swapped the 2LT into my 4runner i used the mt trans that came with it, and i still have my 22re trans.

it seems like the 2lt trans is geared lower, still wanting to do the OM617 swap someday.. i wonder what running the different trans would be like?

Stock 4:10s
I do see some doggyness with the 34½ swampers, but nothing like the 22RE and same tires.
With the om617 I can cruise at 70 I sh all day long.the 22re found not push 33 to 60

After finally seeing some dyno graphs, and verifying them with the butt dyno, I've decided this OM617 should be geared just like the 22R if not lower. The HP power band is 3200-3800, and the torque is at a much higher RPM than everyone assumes because this in-line motor doesn't have a long stroke like every other typical in-line diesel motor. If you ever feel you need more power, just gear the axles lower. (4.88's with my bald 35's felt way better than they do with my 37's).

Whats your average city and highway mileage?

What size tires? Otherwise that doesn't really help.

And I'll add I average 18 in town and 20-23 highway. 4.88 gears. 37" tires.

This is excellent guys!
