Hello, i have a 93 Toyota pick up 4x4 Manual Trans with 22RE engine, the engine is blown and need a new one, is it possible to put in the 6 cylinder version for this year? and if so what all do i need, Motor mounts?.....

Any help would be great,

You're going to need the ECU and harness for sure, and I would think some hoses or lines as well.

I'm pretty sure you'll need your motor mounts re welded to match the V6's correct location...

Then, you'll need to put the transmission in it b/c the 22RE's and V6's are not the same...

Then wire it up... It should work...

A 22R/E made anywhere from 1985 to 1995 will work.

What is the full rundown of the truck you have now, and the V6 you want to swap in?

Engine, trans, 4WD, 2WD?... Extended cab...?

So the trans will bolt in as long as you use the v6 crossmember.
They have the same mounting locations. you just cant use the 4 cyl crossmember on the 6 cyl trans.
